     In 1645, christmas was cancelled beacause of the puritans. It was then restored to england when Charles II was throne. Christmas was not none in the early america.  From 1659 to 1681, christmas was outlawed in Boston. Anyone who celebrated christmas was fined 5 shillings. After a long time, Christmas was announced a holiday on June 26, 1870.
